Close to the beach the wind is holier, further out it becomes steadier. Wind usually blows from NW on the spot. The best moments to come to Epluchures Beach, France are April, May, June, July, August, September and October .
Beach and Tide Conditions
Kitesurfing conditions do not depend on Tide on this spot. Epluchures Beach, France is a Shallow, Flat, Chop, Small waves and Medium waves spot. The launching/landing area is reported to be of Medium size. No real beach. Rig on the grass. A rocky dike is along the shore. You can launch your kite on the land, but it is recommended to launch in the water, shallow for about 100m. Flat behind the moles. Otherwise choppy and depending on the wind direction and strength small to medium waves, which are clean and regular further in the bay. Best waves after a stronger West wind, up to 2m.
Need to know
Careful about the other beach users, especially in June, July and August . When you are on water, be careful of Swimmers, Boats, Jet Skis and Mole . Beach risk reported: Stones .
Get to the southeast of Marseille and find Avenue Pierre Mendes France. Driving south you will find a parking lot to your right directly at the spot.
